Zinc Uptake by Plants as Affected by Fertilization with Zn Sulfate, Phosphorus Availability, and Soil Properties

چکیده

Zinc (Zn) deficiency constrains crop yield and quality, but soil factors influencing Zn availability to plants reactions of applied fertilizer are not fully understood. This work is aimed at studying in the use efficiency fertilizers by as affected properties particularly available P. We performed a pot experiment involving four consecutive crops fertilized with sulfate using 36 soils. The cumulative uptake dry matter increased initial diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid extraction (DTPA-Zn) (R2 = 0.75 R2 0.61; p < 0.001). DTPA-Zn Olsen P 0.41; 0.001) ratio Fe poorly crystalline oxides 0.58; decreased uptake, soils 0.5 mg kg?1. Overall, more relevant explaining than sulfate. However, Zn-deficient soils, explained most crops. Poorly exerted positive role on soil.

Potato yield and tuber quality as affected by gibberellic acid and zinc sulfate

Abstract Obtaining high potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) tuber yield through increased number and weight of quality tubers is important for farmers while the quality factors are of interest for food processing industries. Potato processing industries require high quality tubers having the highest possible dry matter, starch and protein contents. A two-year field study was carried out as a factoria...

Phosphorus Uptake by Plants: From Soil to Cell

P is an important plant macronutrient, making up about 0.2% of a plant’s dry weight. It is a component of key molecules such as nucleic acids, phospholipids, and ATP, and, consequently, plants cannot grow without a reliable supply of this nutrient. Pi is also involved in controlling key enzyme reactions and in the regulation of metabolic pathways (Theodorou and Plaxton, 1993). After N, P is the...
